Director at Large -Board Member

Support your community at a leadership level.

As a Director at Large, you’ll help guide SECA’s direction, contribute ideas, and support initiatives that strengthen our neighbourhood.

What you’ll do:

• Attend monthly board meetings (usually the 3rd Monday of each month, 7–9 PM, South Gate Alliance Church, 1436 James Mckevitt Rd SW)

• Participate in board-level decisions including budget, approvals, and overall direction

• Typically support or participate in a committee (based on interest and availability)

• Contribute to discussions related to governance and organizational priorities

• Assist with occasional events or initiatives as needed

Time commitment:
~4–6 hours per month

Who this is for:
Community-minded residents who want to get involved. No prior board experience required.
